Beautiful reclaimed wood mantel with wooden corbels. Prices are for a 4″ x 6″, 5″ x 6″ & 6″ x 6″ mantel and with 4″ x 6″ x 12″ high corbels. Every beam is different and will differ from the photos but will be as similar as possible. Each beam has its little imperfections which actually give it character.
Installation: The mantel comes with a French cleat system or metal wall brackets. This system is for fireplaces that will be receiving stones or bricks. For installation on a finished wall (gypsum, stone or brick), the mantel with require some notching for a flush mount installation. There is an extra charge for this.

This is an incredible piece of wood. So much character. This was above and beyond my expectations — and they were high! Shipping took a little longer than I expected, but I did order during the holidays and the shop owner gave me updates on the shipping status. It was packaged well. Customer service was excellent! I sent pictures and descriptions of the mantel I was looking for and it was exactly what I requested. It’s perfect for the earthy, modern look of our home.

Aged oak is a pretty medium to dark brown. A little darker than the online picture in my opinion. The quality is great. Real wood. Evenly stained. Solid construction. Because I installed above bricks I had to modify installation. Just had to make a wider mounting bar with a scrap piece of wood. Used a shim in the very center as bricks were not perfectly level. I was working with someone who was going to finish some wood and install for me and it was going to cost 600-700 total so this was a much better alternative.

I love this mantle! I got the chocolate brown stain. It has both warm and cool browns in it. Super easy to install too.
