Reclaimed Wood Sales

We Sell Reclaimed Wood

Think about your favorite features in your home. Most of them come with a great story: where you found it, why you chose it. Reclaimed wood comes with a story that goes beyond that; it lived a full life before coming into yours, enriching your space with its unique charm. The experience of choosing reclaimed wood is so much more than walking into a lumber store and picking from a catalogue. At Reclaimed Wood San Diego, we offer an artisanal experience: Our wood has dimension, history, and personality, and no two pieces are exactly alike.

Reclaimed Wood From All Over the World

Our supply of reclaimed wood is incredibly diverse, and we’ve sought historical wood from all over the world. We’re proud to have a large variety of wood species: We have Brazilian hardwoods, teaks from Indonesian temples, beams from the Jack Daniels distillery in Tennessee, and stringers from San Diego bridges.

Reclaimed Barn Wood

Reclaimed barn wood has a way of making itself the showstopper of the space - and we’re not talking about your Grandpa’s old hunting lodge. Reclaimed barn wood can fit beautifully in a contemporary or clean, modern space, and it’s an excellent choice for siding, accent walls, wall decor, and just about everything else.

A Sustainable Option

Reclaimed wood is the most sustainable option when it comes to lumber in your home. Choosing reclaimed wood not only saves energy, but it also reduces deforestation, decreases the amount of wood sent to the landfill, and it reduces the need for fossil fuels.

01 /04

Reduces Deforestation

Reclaimed wood reduces the demand for new lumber, lowering the amount of deforestation taking place in the production cycle. This sustains existing forests, as well as their ecosystems.

Saves Energy

Did you know that it takes much less energy to refurbish existing wood than it does to cut down and transport virgin wood? Virgin wood requires 11 times more energy than reclaimed wood.

Reduces Landfill Waste

By using materials that are already in the cycle of manufacturing, reclaimed wood prevents material being sent to the landfill and gives them a new life.

Decreases Need for Fossil Fuels

Not only do wood products store carbon, but they are a renewable alternative to materials that require higher quantities of fossil fuels to manufacture, such as petroleum-based products like linoleum.

Reviews of Reclaimed Wood San Diego

“I am so glad I found Reclaimed Woods San Diego over year + ago. I had them make me doors, pillars, & panels for my home out of their reclaimed wood used from old barns. Also I used various pieces to trim my window sills, refaced my bar & laid wood in recessed area of my kitchen. Their staff was always pleasant to deal with & the quality of their work & the barn wood was excellent. Highly recommend this place.”

Linda Kelley

“We were referred to them by our decorator and boy did they deliver. They helped us pick out an old Douglas fir beam which they transformed into a beautiful mantle. Their prices are competitive and the process was fast and reliable. They even worked with us to narrow down the perfect stain color that compliments our home. Well done guys!!”

Matt E.

“I purchased two different types of wood from this company. The owner took the time to walk me through the yard and explain different materials. If you need good quality reclaimed wood, this is your place. I will be using them all the time!”

Tosh S.

“Love this place! John Thompson has an eye for rustic design like no other. Who else would get so excited about wood that has a history. If you are a creative with an eye for designing your own furniture or flooring--this is the place to start!”

Lynn Milke

“Showed up at this place with a very vague plan to make a planter. Justin was so kind and patient with us. He figured out how much wood and cut each piece himself. Came home and we had it together within an hour.”
